My mom was a stray, taken in by a family with another dog.  She was in her 6th week of treatment for stage 3 heartworm when she appeared to be in obvious distress.  At the vet she had me and my brothers and sisters!  No one knew we were coming!  Luckily we are all perfectly healthy.  I stayed with my mom for 14 weeks but our family could no longer care for so many dogs.  The four of us who weren't adopted came to Safe Haven Animal Rescue to find our forever homes.

I have had all my shots and dewormings and have a clean bill of health.  I aspire to be a lap dog.  I love to be petted and would do that all day if I could.  The second you reach out your hand, I'll drop to the ground and roll over for some good tummy rubs.   I've always been the independent one of the litter.  From day one you could find me off on my own lying down.   Even when my siblings were getting into trouble, I was lying down, being a good girl.  I can be a little shy at first, but once I get over
that I'll love you forever.
