Do you believe I was put into a dumpster? I was found in a dumpster at an apartment complex, when a good Samaritan went to throw their trash away they heard me moving around in the dumpster. This good Samaritan had me cleaned up and examined at the vet’s office. Safe Haven Animal Rescue took me into their rescue group after my required holding time at Austin Animal Center was up. Since being in my new foster home, I have really ‘shined’ or ‘sparkled’, get it?? That is my new name. I would do best in a home with another dog, as I love the companionship of other dogs. I do very well with other dogs and am doing great learning my house manners. However, I do need to be crated when left unattended, as I am young and curious and get myself into trouble. I have gone on several walks and really enjoy it and am learning how to walk on a leash appropriately. I also do very well on car rides. I am a true snuggle bug and very much like snuggling up with the other dogs in my foster family, and I also enjoy being a lap dog.
